System Integration

We adapt and combine existing technologies with software development to provide tailor-made system solutions. Based on our background in instrumentation, simulation and flight test we have developed several safety-critical measurement and support systems.

As part of our long association with the Airbus MRTT programme FTI has developed and built the Approach Monitoring System (AMS) that significantly improves hose-and-drogue refuelling operations. AMS consists of:

• Laser Transmitter/Receiver
• Central Approach Monitoring Computer
• Display and Control Unit

AMS can be retrofitted to all existing tankers.
